Tammorra Solo is a journey into the traditional music of southern Italy, which has its origins in the life of rural culture.

In his program, Luca Rossi brings together rhythms, songs, the world of sounds from festivals and rituals of daily life in Southern Italy, earthly devotion and the power of ancient songs from long and archaic traditions of tarantella and tammurriata.

The dances of Andrea De Siena and Laura Esposito complete the repertoire through movements that hold together the ancient and the contemporary.

Luca Rossi is considered one of the most important exponents of the tammorra, the ancient frame drum of Southern Italy. He is the author of records, books and soundtracks. For years he has held concerts with his music in Italy and abroad. www.luca-rossi.com
